The last time Greg played Reno, he performed in the stuffy convention room of
an obscure downtown casino. This time, however, he found himself miles from the casino core at a regional's park outdoor amphitheater in the beautiful high desert of northern Nevada. He seemed to like it. "This is a nice....joint," he joked. The evening, of course, began with a fine 6-song set from Pieta and Bo. "Red Apple Juice," and "Pass You By" were particularly good. They are just getting better and better together. Then Greg and Bo came on for a long, juicy set. They really seemed to enjoy themselves and I've never seen them any better. Bo is beyond words and Greg is, well...Greg. We just hope he keeps coming to northern Nevada. I don't normally comment on Greg's wardrobe, but how could anyone ignore those bright-red cross-trainers. And Bo had on these dark-rimmed clear specs that would have made him a dead ringer for a CPA had it not been for the cowboy hat. |
