OK - trying to do my part here.. Warwick was lovely - what beautiful
spot. and what a treat to spend the day lazing about listening to music.
Mostly local talent, 20 minute sets, then finally almost time for Greg..
But wait he's running late - lost somewhere among the onion farms I
imagine.. At least I'd rather think of him as lost among the onions
than on the interstate.. The Warwick Valley is serious agriculture.
rolling hills (really roiling - cyclist hubby notes 2 mile up and down
grades, over and over again) then SUDDENLY you come over a hill and the
landscape goes FLAT - really flat, like a table.. Apparently from a
prehistoric bog or something - acres and acres of beautiful black dirt -
trucks go by literally bursting with onions.. I'm actually familiar
with the area - had a summer job after high school here in one of those
huge sheds - packing onions.. Putting those orange net bags on the
machine. sorting the rots. another side of life.. First time back here
in well never mind. But I digress.

So Greg was late. which was ok - it gave my friends the Slambovian
Circus of Dreams a chance to pay a couple of extra songs - an hour set
instead of 40 minutes. they, big GB fans themselves, happy too... then
Greg arrives, miraculously not out of sorts as most mortals would be
after hours in the car on wrong roads. what a treat - 19 songs.. All
Greg all the time.. Here's the set list.. I would put up a photo, but
can't figure out how..

Sunshine, breeze, green grass, delicious hard cider from winery, small
children rolling about playing with pears they have just pulled off
trees a few feet away. and Greg B. As my teen would say, how cool is
that???
